Procedures

At Transcend we take great pride in delivering accurate translations on time. You can count on it. Your documents will undergo our rigorous quality assurance process; including translating, editing by an independent translator, formatting and proofreading. We will coordinate and evaluate end-user review and build glossaries for you, so that future documents will contain compatible terminology.

Our Standard Process:

  • Translation by a certified/qualified translator in the language pair they are translating

  • Editing by a second translator who is certified/qualified in the language pair they are translating. The editor is also chosen carefully for their knowledge of the subject translated

  • Proofing (at least 2 rounds) by trained professionals. They look for omissions, inconsistencies, spelling of proper nouns, correct phone numbers, addresses and other key information.

  • Final proofing by the lead translator to check for errors and/or omissions.

  • Field testing. Testing design and translation on a sample test group.

Optional Services:

Formatting by graphic designers to match source document or to client specifications.

Design by graphic designers to meet client specifications and needs.

Community Review by a reviewer who works in the targeted industry on a daily basis and has knowledge of the consumer terminology and community needs.
